​​My name is Angel Carmona. I am the founder of Black Moon Maine coons EST 2020.I am a Wife and a mom of 3 kidsI  Our Cattery is located just right outside Lexington Kentucky. we take extreme pride in my cattery and the production of the cats/Kittens. we breed within. the "The International Cat Association (TICA)  helping to maintain and preserve the history of the breed.  It is very important to me to make sure that I am breeding to always better the breed

 We are a closed cattery, 'MEANING' We do not allow any outside traffic to come to our home. this is for the safety of my family and of course our kittens. I am willing to set up FaceTime calls or send references, or what ever means you are most comfortable with. I know it can be scary when it comes to sending your hard earned money to someone you never met so I want to be able to provide you as much comfort as possible. 

My Goal with Black Moon is only producing the Best kittens around! being the best means taking the extra leaps and bounds to making sure everything I do is for the health of my cattery.  I stand by all of my kittens for the entirety of their lives. I would like to be in consistent contact with my families and be able to watch my kittens receive the love they deserve. they are born into my hands and are raised and loved by us until I place them into your arms. so I just kindly ask for as many updates as you want to send I appreciate every single one. 

I only ever want to be a responsible breeder and one of the steps in doing so is making sure each litter of kittens I produce get raised and socialized so when they do go to their new homes its not scary or stressful and if it is they overcome it very quickly. I am very bold about what is expected of my kittens because cats being stressed can cause sicknesses or many other health problems so for the entirety of their lives I want them happy and healthy. grooming is another big one with Maine coons. it is an absolute must putting in the work on training your cat not to love it but tolerate it as this will be something they will have to have the entire lives and being stressed out every single time is not fair for them. so make sure you will have the time to continue exposure after going home.  

I do not show and I only breed for pet homes at this time. I do know how important it is to show and I hope that in the near future we will be adding that into our program but the time that it takes to not only raise a family but to manage a cattery, well not much time to manage for just myself lol.  when I am not hanging out with kids or cats you might find me at hanging out on the couch cuddled up to Link and a bunch of cats.
